Reset Conference 2023 Recap

Every year I try to attend the Reset Conference, since 2017 I believe, and it’s always just that, a reset. A reset for my business and everything around it. Even for my mental health to be honest. I’m kind of upset I haven’t blogged about Reset until now. It truly is a great experience for photographers at any level. You meet new people and my favorite, you learn so much!

In 2023 we headed to Chattanooga, TN. I’ve never been but it is a pretty little city. There is so much to do and so much to see. I took some photos of the plant shop I stopped in buy a commemorative plant for myself. Duh! If you can’t tell, I went to the plant store every day. HA!

There were lots of cute murals and art around the city and my friend Joy from over at Being Joy Photography shared some of the pictures below. Joy is my business bestie and it’s been so fun going with her to these conferences.

The Westin we stayed at was GORG and so nice (I really like checking out different hotels and rating them in my head). There was a little car in the lobby that was just so picturesque.

Pictured below are some more photos of the plant store I obsessed over during my time in Chattanooga, pictures of the Westin, including the car and pictures of a little taco place that was so damn good.

I also took a few pictures of the educators, which I should probably have taken more but what are you going to do. Pictured are Manali Photography and Sabrina Gebhardt, both of whom I learned so much from.

The last pictures are of our extracurricular activities around Chattanooga, the main one being the Incline Railway which I would HIGHLY recommend if you ever visit. I was terrified on the way up but once I got up and looked at that view, it was phenomenal. There’s a little video for you guys ;)

Overall, if you’re a photographer, invest and hit up Reset. It’s a small, fun, conference where you will enjoy yourself. Bring your photography bestie too and always check out the city you’re visiting.

If you would like to book a session or have any questions, please Contact Me Here or please email me at o@osirisphotography.com. I am happy to answer any questions you may have.

I recommend booking your session with me about 4-6 weeks in advance (sooner if newborn session) as I can’t guarantee space, especially in summer and fall.
