Jane + Brian // Intimate Wedding at the Morton Arboretum, Lisle, IL

Intimate weddings hold a special place in my heart. Whenever someone hires me to shoot theirs I’m overwhelmed with joy. When Jane reached out to me, she explained how no other photographer would meet with her because they were planning a small wedding and the photographers only wanted big weddings. Are you kidding me?!! I could not believe it, how rude of them. I was ecstatic thought, like I said, small weddings (intimate or tiny) are my JAM! We met, had their engagement session, and soon enough their wedding day was here.

Jane & Brian have a membership at the Morton Arboretum, I don’t know if you’ve been there or not but let me tell you guys, it’s gorgeous! So we had our pick of natural backdrops.

Both of their families were there, most from out of town, but they managed to get there and show their love and support.

After the ceremony we stopped at their home for some pictures with their puppy Axel and of course their cats had to get in some pictures too. They also had a quick beer.

MY KIND OF PEOPLE!

The love birds had an intimate family dinner right after the ceremony. You could feel the love and excitement between Jane & Brian, they were a very smiley couple that day.

Well, they still are. <3
